We all know people love expressing online how they're feeling at any time of the day or night. The Jell-O Pudding Face campaign came from a simple insight: people have childhood memories of eating pudding, and eating it just makes them happy. So what if we could show how happy the internet is at any given moment, and make it happier by giving away free pudding when things aren't going so well? That's what we did with the Jell-O Mood Meter.
We succeeded in making the world a happier place, but there was one person we failed. Our colleague (and amazing creative) Ian Hart was one of the models for the campaign. He had left for a new agency, but we had one last parting gift for him. I am proud to say Ian is still my dear friend in spite of this.
